Refund & Return Policy

We want every Zero Degrees piece to feel right when it arrives. If it does not, this policy explains how to return or exchange it.

Return window

You may return or exchange most items within 30 days of delivery, provided they are unworn, in their original condition, and in the original Zero Degrees packaging (pouch and leather box). Initiate a return by emailing 0degreesmy@gmail.com with your order number and the reason for return.

What can be returned

  • Ready-made jewelry pieces in unworn condition.
  • Items that arrived damaged, defective, or were the wrong piece.

What cannot be returned

  • Custom commissions, engraved pieces, and personalised jewelry — these are made to your specification and are non-returnable under the Malaysian Consumer Protection Act exemption for custom-made goods. Defective custom pieces are still covered (see "Defective items" below).
  • Earrings — for hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned once removed from sealed packaging, unless they are defective.
  • Final-sale items — pieces marked "final sale" at the time of purchase are non-returnable except in the case of defects.
  • Items returned outside the 30-day window or showing signs of wear.

Defective items

If a piece arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, we will arrange a free return and offer a replacement, repair, or full refund — your choice. This applies to all items including custom and final-sale pieces, in line with the Malaysian Sale of Goods Act 1957 and Consumer Protection Act 1999.

Return shipping

  • Defects or our error: we cover return shipping. We will send a prepaid label or reimburse you.
  • Change of mind or sizing: the customer pays return shipping. We recommend using a tracked service.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, refunds are processed within 7 to 14 business days back to your original payment method. Bank or card processing on your side may take an additional few days. We will email you when the refund is issued.

Exchanges

Exchanges for a different size or piece of equal value are free of charge (Malaysian addresses only). For exchanges to a higher-value piece, you pay the difference; to a lower-value piece, we refund the difference.

Free resizing

Rings and bracelets can be resized free of charge within 30 days of delivery, where the piece's construction allows it. Beyond 30 days, a small workshop fee applies. Email us to arrange.

Warranty

Every Zero Degrees piece carries a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects and stone loss. Plated finishes are also covered for life — we re-plate any piece that dulls beyond normal care. Natural wear (minor scratches, light loss of brilliance over time) is excluded. See our shipping policy for warranty claim shipping.

How to start a return

  1. Email 0degreesmy@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp (+60 12-886 4423) within 30 days of delivery.
  2. Include your order number, the item(s) you want to return, and the reason.
  3. We respond within 1 business day with instructions and, where applicable, a return label.
  4. Pack the item in its original packaging and ship it back. Keep the tracking number.
  5. Once we receive and inspect the item, we process the refund or exchange within 7–14 business days.
